Your gonna do WHAT???

Some of you may remember last December, when we moved into the house that we are currently living in. It was a very stormy day...rain, rain, rain!! We moved from Keizer to Milwaukie in 8 hours including the hour drive. Suffice it to say...I think we are PROFESSIONALS!!

Fast forward to last night. Kent, myself, and the kids went and looked at a lovely home in Oregon City. It has everything we need/want (except a bonus room) and it is updated and very nice. And, the best part about this house is.....We are going to buy it!! WHAT'S THAT YOU SAY??? Buy it?? Yes!!!

The main reason that we are not going to buy the house we are currently living in, is the owners. We feel they want to keep this house as a rental...and we feel like if they eventually DID want to sell it, it would be pretty expensive, due to the upgrades and such....Now...on to the "other" house!!!

The people who currently own it wanted to sell it, but the market isn't/wasn't so hot...they put lots of money into upgrades, however, when they went to sell the house, it wouldn't go. So, we are doing a lease option which will allow us to lock in a price now, and purchase it within the next 2-3 years...thus also allowing us to finish paying off all of our debt before jumping into a large house payment!!

The kids are thrilled...we are thrilled...I am nervous...but that's just me!! Nervous Nellie...if I can't worry about something...why even show up? :)

So, here are some pics of our new house. We are looking to move around the 4th of October...so, if ya'll are not busy..........................I can't promise that there won't be any rain, but I would assume it wouldn't be as bad as the last move. Oh, and this IS the last move!! Scouts HONOR!! (Well...maybe when Kayte is out of high school....we may do it again...but for now!! YEAH BABY!!)
